Meet the New Co Chairs
Gavin Morrow-Hall and Scott Duty
The recent 36th Annual NABWMT Conven on in Memphis, TN was a fairy-tale event. From guest speakers Tre’Dar- ius & David Anderson, Jayce Baron, and Keynote Speaker John Williams to the private tour of the Na onal Civil Rights Museum and viewing of the Film “King”, we are still mesmerized. Congratulations to Convention Co-Chairs and hosts Neal Holmes & Paul Hawkins and the conven on planning commi ee for their reless e orts. Your hard work and love for the organiza on was evident from the beginning.
Along with a great convention, Memphis brought election of new Board Members, Corresponding Secretary and Co-Chairs. Demetrius Mack and Del Korte, along with outgoing Co-Chairs Darryl Fore and Mark Behar, will lend their talents, passion and vision for the organization serving as Board Members. Wendell Reid will be the Corresponding Secretary and part of the Executive Committee.
As for Co-Chairs, Gavin-Morrow Hall and Sco Duty are excited to begin their two-year term on October 1st. Both Gavin and Scott look forward to implementing the strategic plan and jump starting the Bush-Mallon Ins tute for Social Justice.
Gavin has been a member for over 30 years, including 10 years serving on the Board of Directors. He has also served as Co-Chair of the San Francisco Chapter. Scott has been a member for over 10 years including previously serving on the Board of Directors and is a previous Co-Chair. He has also served as Co-Chair of the Baltimore BWMT Chapter.
